Tommy - Lines 'Sportiboy' rocking horse

A Lines 'Sportiboy' rocking horse. This horse is a odd because it is a large horse ( 28" body length ) and would normally be 48" high instead of 44". The stand pillars are short- the usual top sections are absent which makes the hoof rails quite close to the ground. The horse has been in a hospital for many years and it may have been lowered during one of it's many re-paints to make it easier to get on. Or it could have always been like this - I don't know.
There are two Tri-ang Toys circular metal labels on the bottom rail and the brackets are marked LBLd SP2.
It seems sound with no signs of woodworm but it will need a full restoration as the surface is very rough with missing patches of gesso, lots of overpainting and the usual cracks which need attention.
The stand is in quite good order but there is a bit of movement in the pillar joints which will need firming up.
One ear needs a new tip.
